I'm not a big fan of the Doors. They're cool and everything, and I love some of their songs, but they never blew me away like other musicians of the era. My dad is a huge Doors fan, and I had friends in high school who were very much into the Doors, so I've had plenty of exposure to them. Anyway, I appreciate the influence the group and their frontman Jim Morrison had on popular music, and how they influenced the cultural experience of a generation in America.
